Ministry Director Steven Orot
Steven Orot Sensei was born in 1975 on the
Island of Oahu, HI. In 1995, he became an
Aikido student under instructor Harry Eto Sensei
(8th Dan), a direct student of Aikido founder
Morihei Ueshiba. Today, Steven is a 5th degree
black belt instructor who has been inspired to
glorify Jesus Christ through the martial art of
Ki-Aikido. Along with Ki-Aikido training, Steven
has gained experience in additional martial arts
such as Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Muay Tai, Kendo, and
Iaido.

New Hope Aikido Ministry
The New Hope Aikido Ministry is designed to promote spiritual, mental,
and physical growth by providing an environment that encourages one
another to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The
ministry combines the fruit of the spirit with the study of Ki-Aikido. By
doing this, each person can apply every lesson to everyday life, which
has been found to increase one's faith, understanding, confidence, and
love.
